How to Tell Which Scenario You're In
I'm the office administrator for a 140-person company. I manage tech and facilities ordering—roughly $65,000 a year across fifteen vendors, and I report to both operations and finance. If you're still not sure, check the return policy before you order. More often than not, that's the step that saves us. You don't need the 'best' product in every category; you need the product that matches your specific setup. The through-line is efficiency: a $15 adapter that works beats a $150 solution that doesn't. And when you're buying for a shared space, the best purchase is the one that quietly solves the problem without creating a new one.
